More about me

 

I am a registered systemic therapist (UKCP registration 00960074) and psychiatrist (GMC registration 2382872).

 

I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Family Therapy at the University of Wales in 1993 and have worked in a family clinic since the 1980s, at first in Manchester and then in Wolverhampton until 2009.

 

Since then I have completed a PhD and developed a portfolio of work, which involves therapy alongside research, teaching and other activities.

 

Systemic therapy is well established with families including young children and adolescents, but less so in adult couple and family relationships, where, in my view, there is just as much need.
